The Askon Extended Sensor Tap is engineered for deep basins and commercial wash troughs where a standard spout reach is insufficient. With an elongated spout arm and high-accuracy infrared sensor, it delivers precise, touchless water control in hospitals, industrial washrooms, laboratory sinks, and large wash basins.
The extended spout design ensures water reaches the centre of deep or wide basins without splashing, making it the preferred choice for surgical hand-wash stations, food processing facilities, and laboratory environments where contamination control is critical.
Built from 304-grade stainless steel with a brushed or chrome finish, the Extended Sensor Tap resists corrosion, staining, and wear in demanding conditions. The sensor module is factory-calibrated for fast detection and immediate shut-off, ensuring water is never left running accidentally.
The unit supports both mains power and battery backup operation, and features a manual override option for emergency use. Installation is straightforward with standard hot and cold water connections, and maintenance is simplified through a front-access service panel.
